Gilbert is the founder and band leader of DejaVu Showband, with years of experience performing at weddings and events throughout Scotland.
Leading a live band teaches you far more than how to play music. It teaches you how to read a room, respond to an audience and recognise the moments that can transform an evening. Gilbert brings that same performance-led approach to every DJ set.
Rather than simply moving from one requested song to the next, he treats the evening as a live performance—shaping the energy, bringing guests together and using the microphone with purpose when the room needs direction.

There are not enough words to describe Deja Vu and how amazing they are!! They completely blew us away and we feel so incredibly fortunate to have secured them for our wedding.
Arguably the band are one of your most important wedding suppliers and therefore that brings a lot of pressure for couples to find the perfect band for them, especially when it’s pretty much impossible to hear the band live before you secure them. However, if you are fortunate enough to have Deja Vu available for your wedding date, do not hesitate to book them. I promise you will not regret it and they will be one of your favourite suppliers on the day as you will be provided with your very own concert!
No clips online compare to the experience they provide, they are amazing and incredibly talented. The band are a burst of energy and Heather is not only a phenomenal singer but she will make sure to fill the dance floor.
Our guests adored them and everyone had the best time ever as they continued to deliver surprises all through the night.
Our guests were genuinely gutted when the night finished and demanded more.

What a band!!
Not only is everyone in the band genuinely the nicest bunch of people, they're also unbelievable singers and absolute hype men and women! I know a lot of people worry about having an empty dance floor at their wedding, but I can confirm that with this band it's absolutely not something you need to worry about 🤣
From the moment they arrived, they set the tone for the evening. During dinner, Heather was standing on a chair singing, and it instantly felt like one big party!
My other half is Bulgarian, so we wanted to include some
Bulgarian traditions and dancing alongside a ceilidh. The band were more than happy to accommodate everything and got fully involved themselves, which made it even more special.
Every single one of our friends, family members, and even our parents' friends have told us it was the best wedding band they've ever seen. The funniest part is that barely anyone was actually drunk by the end of the night because nobody wanted to leave the dance floor — it was just that good!!
